Kelly is a book-loving, travel-mad, contra-dancing, mostly-vegetarian musician and educator. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Allegheny College in 2014, where she received her bachelor’s in Environmental Science. Since then, Kelly has been a science educator in a variety of settings, from a traditional high school to the Colorado back-country. She received her MA in Science Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018. She currently teaches middle school science at the Edmund Burke School in DC.
