Kelly Williams

Kelly is a book-loving, travel-mad, contra-dancing, mostly-vegetarian musician and educator. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Allegheny College in 2014, where she received her bachelor’s in Environmental Science with a minor in French. She joined the DC Alumni Association in 2018 when she was looking for a book club after moving back to the city. Since the summer of 2024 she has been organizing the French language group and the book club. She would like to thank the volunteer hosts who help her with book club meetings

Professionally, Kelly has been a science educator in a variety of settings, from a traditional high school to the Colorado back-country. She received her MA in Science Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018. She currently teaches middle school science at the Edmund Burke School in DC.
