DCPBK is seeking to recruit a Membership & Outreach Chair/Webmaster to oversee membership payments, renewals, and member-driven programming for the association. The Membership & Outreach Chair hosts DCPBK’s popular hour-long Coffee & Conversation series each quarter over Zoom, and helps to incubate new programming ideas pursuant to member input.
Qualifications:
- Capacity to volunteer up to 5 hours a month
- Strong brainstorming, program planning, execution, and creative problem-solving skills
- Proactive, creative, and adaptable mindset with ability to integrate member feedback into new program initiatives
Responsibilities at a glance:
- Administer regular member feedback surveys to hear from members on desired programming
- Analyze and distill survey results to determine strategic programming direction
- Co-chair Events & Programs Committee (3-5 volunteers) alongside VP Member Experience
- Brainstorm, develop, test, and expand new program ideas, delegating program management tasks as needed to Events & Programs Committee
- Track memberships within MembershipWorks, proactively advising members of upcoming renewals, following up on overdue renewals, and maintaining statistics within desired margins (see position description for full details)
- Work closely with Treasurer to ensure payments successfully go through and follow up as needed
- Ensure website is up to date and members have someone to turn to if needed
