DCPBK is seeking to recruit a Social Media Chair to manage the association’s social media accounts. The role will include creating promotional content for programs and events, advertising board vacancies, and creating a sense of community through dialogue and engagement with DCPBK members on social media.
Qualifications:
- Capacity to volunteer 5 – 10 hours per month
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
- Enjoys interacting with diverse individuals over social media
Responsibilities at a glance:
- Manage DCPBK social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create social media posts to promote DCPBK programs and events and engage members
- Foster a sense of community and respectful dialogue by actively engaging with members on social media
- Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals looking to connect with the organization through social media
- Assist the Secretary and President with board member recruitment through promotion of board vacancies
