February 2018 DC PBK Book Club Meeting

Tuesday, February 27, 2018 -
6:00pm to 7:30pm
Nagomi Izakaya, 1990 M St NW, Washington, DC, 20036
Guests Allowed:

Hello all,

Please join us for our February meeting, which will be held Tuesday, February 27 at Nagomi Izakaya.

We'll be discussing Snow by Orhan Pamuk (Fiction, 463 pages). All DCPBK members and guests are invited to attend.

Please see below for the full list of upcoming selections for our Spring 2018 book club series:

  • March: American Nations: A Cultural History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America by Colin Woodard, Nonfiction, 371 pages

  • April: The Autobiography of Malcom X by Malcom X as told by Alex Haley, Classic, 466 pages

  • May: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, Fiction, 288 page

  • June: The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, Classic, 561 pages

At this meeting I'd encourage everyone to bring in any books you may be looking to clean out. We first see if anyone else would like to give the books a new home internally, and if there are any left over, we have a member who recommended a DC non-profit called "Turning the Page," which will accept any donations we have.

*Please update your RSVP by 7 p.m. on Monday the 26th, so I can give the restaurant an accurate head count.*

I hope to see many of you there!

Sincerely, Kate Hannon

Book Club Coordinator DC PBK Association
